SET UP INSTRUCTIONS

Touch the work piece and set zero.

Now feed down to approximately .250 +/-.06.

When setting the rapid down, you should rapid to .05 above the workpiece, then feed down to depth, this should give sufficient pressure for any engraving.

Set up to start running at 20 inches per minute. You can adjust speed based on your results. All materials can be different.

Do not run the spindle. It should be off, or you risk damaging the tip.

It is very important, NEVER run off of the work piece. Always start on the piece and come down to depth otherwise you risk damaging the tool and possibly ruin your work.

Remember these tools are tough yet they can chip if they get hit. However, If something does happen don’t worry, you can just purchase the replacement tips which are approximately 1/2 the cost of a new tool and will return it to brand new condition.
